As a kid I often dreamed of going to summer sleep away camp. I would imagine something on the lines of the "Parent Trap" style where boys and girls would have their own cabins. Now looking back, I am not sure how long I would have lasted being away from my family and doing a bunch of water activities on a lake.  As a mom, I love doing cool new things with my boys and one day I hope to take them on different nature adventures like swimming in a lake and tubing down rivers. This painting was made from a place of tranquility and appreciation for summer.
