I made these pieces during my sabbatical from my art business. During which, I take time off to refocus on God and reflect on my own life. This summer, my sabbatical was all about creation and appreciating all the small things. Not sure exactly what was on my mind at the time but I remember being a little girl and I could watch the jellyfish swim at the aquarium for hours. I just thought they swam with so much grace that is was almost effortless. It was always a mystery how elegant they were. The Space background reminded me that there is so much more we don’t know about the sky or the depths of the ocean.
