Raising sons in a world where the odds are stacked against them is very hard. I now have the privilege of raising four handsome boys. My husband and I have been teaching them to love themselves and others. I made this piece for them. My boys all have different shades of melanin and we have taught them to celebrate that even when no one else will. This piece is apart of the legacy I am leaving my four boys to share the message to their children as well.
