Farewell For Now

This adventure in the art business has been such a fun experience. When I started this business, it was because there were a group of amazing women who encouraged me to start selling my work based on what they saw me do. I was still trying to find my artistic expression and voice. I thought since those women could believe in me, I should learn to believe in myself. I have sent out hundreds of pieces of art since then. I can finally say, I have found my voice. This whole time I have collaborated with God in my entire artistic process. I have felt empowered, and I've felt like I couldn't go on in different seasons. One thing rang true this whole time, God was and is with me. God challenged me last year to step from behind the art and use my voice in different ways such as speaking and writing, and it has been slightly uncomfortable but I embrace it because it challenges me to grow. As I follow in this new direction it has made me grateful for this artist journey. As I close this business, I want to encourage you today. Just because you have to let go of something doesn't mean God doesn't have something better for you in store. Thank you for supporting my art over the years. Each piece that I have create holds a piece of my journey. I pray it blesses you as it hangs on your wall.
