Ok, I'm sure you are wondering why this one is named Roar. Well that is what happens when you let your four year old name your painting. As he said that, I started to look at the painting differently. This piece now reminds me of sounds and being overwhelmed with sound waves. It makes sense because I made this piece during the time I was trying to find a quiet space to paint away from the kids loud noises. As I was painting, the boys came through my studio door what seemed like every five minutes. So yes this is what was going through my head at the time.
