Charles County Commission for Women
The Commission for Women, established by the Charles County Commissioners in 1996, works to raise awareness of issues affecting women and families by serving as a conduit between women and existing services and advocating for programs, education, and legislation.

The Commission for Women Scholarship is intended to support "non-traditional" students who are pursuing higher education, such as single mothers, working women returning to college, and other circumstances of hardship. Nominations from community members will be accepted and the scholarship will be awarded in 2024. This partnership will help raise funds for the scholarship by donating 50% of the profit from the items below in hope that it will help many lives in the community.
